The department provides police services 24 hours a day. Working with the Police Chief are ten patrol officers, an Administrative Aide, and part time Police Clerk. One patrol officer is assigned as a full time investigator. The police department also employs school crossing guards. Dispatching is provided by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.
