Description:
The after school program provides tutoring (one on one) and homework help, internet access, and a substantial snack , drink, every school day from 3:30-4:30. Group activities run from 4:30-4:45 and include board games, crafts, baking, and small group activities. An average of 100 students participate in the after school program every week. Community volunteers are invited to play games, share crafts/projects, help with homework, and enjoy time with the community's youth. The library also offers story times for preschoolers, summer library program, teen lock-ins, book clubs, knitting and crocheting classes for adults, and wireless internet services.
