Community Opportunities Club supports individuals who have been impacted by a physical disability or brain injury to gain the confidence and independence needed to lead more productive and satisfying lives.
The Club provides a drop-in center and a wide range of daily activities, including: community outings; volunteer opportunities; vocational training and placement referrals; exploration and development of leisure interests or hobbies; support groups (AODA, family, health and disability issues); computer training and use; and educational and informational seminars.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be a person with physical disabilities resulting from disease, injury or birth condition to be eligible for services.
Require a low degree of physical or medical assistance with basic needs.
Have an interest in recreational programming, group supports and increased community opportunities.
Not pose a risk to him/herself or others.
