The Bureau of Prevention, Treatment & Recovery is the designated state mental health authority responsible for the direction of public community mental health services in Wisconsin. The bureau collaborates with counties, providers, and families in setting policies, program directions and standards. It oversees programs such as the Community Support Program, Mental Health/Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse, Prevention/Early Intervention, Integrated Services Program for children, biweekly training teleconference for community staff training, deaf and hard of hearing and homeless persons who have mental illness, and other programs.
