The Learning Disabilities Association of Wisconsin is dedicated to providing support to children and adults with learning disabilities through advocacy, education, information and research. Enhancing the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities and their families is the main goal. Monitors and provides information to members regarding special education legislation at both the federal and state levels, promote awareness, communication and understanding between parents, adults with learning disabilities, educators and the community. It is affiliated with the national nonprofit organization the Learning Disabilities Association of America. Members receive the quarterly newsletter, Connections, along with the national publication, Newsbriefs.
