It is Kickapoo Valley AFH's goal to provide for our residents a home-like atmosphere with a feeling of belonging to and contributing to a family unit. We would like to see our residents set and meet goals, improving their sense of self-confidence and self-worth.
Our residents will be encouraged to develop and/or maintain a meaningful level of community participation as well as maintaining or improving on their level of independent functioning consistent with their abilities. Dedicated to the philosophy that pets enhance our lives, we provide the animal lover with a wide variety of loving animals, and companions along with the fun activities that go with them - both at home and in the community.
Services Offered: Private Rooms, Long-term personalized care, experienced care providers for individuals with mental illness, developmental disability, and emotional disturbance, extensive pet therapy (if desired), quiet relaxing atmosphere, indoor and outdoor activities, 24/7 care, transportation, substitue care available.
