Description:
The Audient Alliance for Accessible Hearing Care and its nationwide network of participating hearing care providers and suppliers are proud to have come together to continue this tradition of serving those in need. Designed and developed by the Northwest Lions Foundation for Sight & Hearing, Audient is another example of how its members have been serving the community for over 40 years. The mission of Audient is simple: To provide easy access to low-cost hearing care to low income families nationwide.
Audient helps low income people nationwide access quality hearing aids and related care at a significantly lower cost. Audient income qualifies families to be eligible for a discount on brand name hearing aids available through the Audient Alliance's national network of dedicated hearing care providers. Brand selection includes Oticon, Phonak, Widex, Unitron hearing aids.
Audient is a non profit program that provides affordable access to hearing care to people with limited financial resources. Through this program, hearing care professionals and suppliers offer their services to the Audient Program, so that services can be made available at a greatly reduced cost. Applicant's must meet income eligibility requirements. Once a person is determined to be eligible for the program, they are referred to the Audient Program Partner, Ear Professionals International Corporation (EPIC), who then refers them to an Audient Program Provider in their area.
