Description:
10, local congregational partners make it possible for Hands of Faith to host 3-5 families (up to 14 people), 365 days a year. The congregations provide space in their buildings for one week, starting at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. the next morning to serve as a temporary home for our families.
Volunteers provide a variety of services, such as cooking and serving meals, playing with children, helping them with homework, staying overnight, and driving our 15-passenger van.
Families can use the space at our Day Center in Beloit from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. to care for pre-school children, bathe, look for housing and jobs, and receive case management. Children are able to continue to attend their regular schools. Our Program Director’s office is also at the Day Center.
