he Ventures Unlimited Thrift & Gift Shoppe and Just for the Birds is on the south side of Spooner. We rely on our local community for support in the form of donations and store purchases. We value our relationships with our customers and the individuals that donate to our shoppe. This location provides meaningful employment for up to 10 people in the form of sorting donations, tagging clothes, pricing housewares, books, toys, and furniture, sweeping and cleaning the store, preparing items for sale, running the cash register, answering the phone, and picking up and transporting donations. In addition to the thrift area, the store includes a gift gallery featuring artwork and handcrafted items made by consumers at Ventures. Just for the Birds is located in the front of the store and offers bird feeders, bird houses, and suet products hand made by employees at Ventures.
