Description:
Unity for Women is an eight-bed chemical dependency treatment program specifically designed for women age 18 and older. The primary goal of treatment is to teach women how to live a chemically free lifestyle.
Treatment components include education on the disease concept, identifying relapse triggers, developing a stable and supportive recovery environment, and addressing any issues that may increase the patient's relapse potential.
Unity for Women chemical dependency treatment is covered by most insurance and many county-funding agencies. Halfway House beds are also available in this facility after completion of inpatient chemical dependency treatment
Not wheelchair accessible.
Hours: 24 hours per day - residential treatment center including transitional 1/2 way living.
Eligibility: Alcohol dependent, drug dependent as primary diagnosis - treat dual diagnosis.
Intake procedure: Referral agent (county or therapist) calls and give assessment details.
Residential through 1/2 way level of care.
Complete assessment - group and one-on-one therapy, education, family education, recreation therapy, nutritional, spiritual, psychological, health assessment.
Utilizes continuing care by connecting with community resources.
