This 3-bed adult family home is located in the lower level of a two level home. Upper home is also licensed as an AFH. Residents can enjoy the secure and covered outdoor deck area and watch the nearby trains or highway traffic.
Respite services are considered when a bed is available. Bedrooms are private. The AFH is licensed to support:
Emotionally Disturbed / Mental Illness, Physically Disabled
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
Hearing and Visually impaired individuals may be supported. Individuals who are associated with the client groups supported in this AFH are considered compatible when health, safety and welfare support needs are similar. English is the spoken language.
The community offers several opportunities for employment, entertainment, shopping, hair care salons and professional services, including medical, mental health. Both private and public funding is accepted.
The goal of this AFH is to support individuals to maintain their independence in the community and encourage an active lifestyle.
