The Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute provides assistive technology, vocational evaluation and employment services to persons with disabilities.
Assistive Technology - Provides assessment and technology implementation services to assist persons with disabilities to meet their goals. Areas of specialty includes: worksite accommodations, adaptive computing, mobility, adapted transportation and daily living adaptations.
Vocational Evaluation - Assessment of skills, abilities, and interests to assist a person with a disability to make vocational decisions and plans. Length and location of the assessment vary with the needs of the individual.
Employment Services - Assistance is provided to locate and secure appropriate employment. Services include job seeking skills training, on-the-job training and direct placement service.
Residential Services - Housing and food service are available for persons receiving services in Menomonie.

Benefits Analysis and Counseling - Through an interview process and research into a person's benefits a consumer is informed of other benefits they may qualify for and incentive/disincentives to working.
Community Living Assessment - As assessment of a person's ability to live in the community. Recommendations include the type of living arrangement necessary, areas of improvement in functioning independently that are possible and types of support that will be needed.
