Call first to verify someone will be there during open hours. Medical equipment is by appointment only. This is a non-profit umbrella agency for a number of programs. They include Respite Care, Medical Equipment loans, Peer companions and the Lemonade Club. Respite Care provides volunteers to stay with a loved one so that the caregiver can have a break. The Peer Companion program matches trained volunteers, themselves 60+, with individuals in need of companionship and support. The volunteers provide a safe, non-threatening way for elderly individuals to cope with grief, loneliness and isolation and help them bridge the gap to community resources needed. The Lemonade Club is a group of cancer survivors who meet once a month for friendship and support.
