Public library services (books, magazines, video recordings, DVDs, audio books, e-books and e-subscriptions, and online databases available to check out with valid library card), pay copier available, interlibrary loan for items not owned in-house, internet access, preschool story time (free pre-registration), summer reading program (free pre-registration), local history resources including newspaper viewable on microfilm (1898-1997). Free computer and internet access.
The Richland County libraries located in Viola, Richland Center, and Lone Rock have improved library services to better serve those with disabilities. These services include: Handicapped parking, accessible entrances, electronic door openers, accessible restrooms handheld magnifiers, Wheeled shopping cart and baskets, large-scale magnifier (at Richland Center Library), large size keyboards (at Richland Center Library), Scanners (at Lone Rock library), home delivery of materials to city/village residents, large print books for adults, large print books for children, books on tape/cd/digital.
