Hodan Community Services is a Community Rehabilitation Program which provides work services, food services, senior day services and enrichment activities at our main facility.
Employment services are provided at various job locations in Iowa, Lafayette, and Grant counties.
Adult Basic Education is available for Computer Skills, Math Skills, Reading Skills, Writing Skills, and Social Skills training.
Hodan Community Services also operates five resale/retail stores in five different counties.
At our Wisconsin Innovation Kitchen we operate a food processing plant.
Our transportation system runs eight bus routes in Iowa, Lafayette, and Grant counties.
Eligibility: Disabled adults age 18 or older.
*Work services and training. Offered to maximize job skills in the areas of food service, woodworking, and production; Sub-contract work from industries creating a wide variety of opportunities for our customers.
*Employment services: Assessments, job placements in community/supported employment.
*Job training, employer advocacy.
*Counseling, family support and follow along services.
*Employment opportunities at our Bargain Nook stores in Mineral Point, Darlington, Platteville, Mt. Horeb and Spring Green.
*Enrichment activities: Exercise, therapy carry over, cycling, swim/spa.
*Music, arts, and crafts, small group activities.
*Shopping, birthday celebrations, and other special events.
*Adult basic education: Classes offered at Hodan Center are in conjunction with Southwest Technical College.
*Information and referral.
*Independent living skills training.
*Employment opportunities at our Wisconsin Innovation Kitchen
