Description:
Our volunteers and staff are on call 24 hours a day to assist local children and families who have lost their home to a house fire, flood or other devastating event. Children and families left homeless from disasters seek the Red Cross in their time of need. We are notified of a disaster by local first responders, community agencies, clients and/or families. We do not receive government funding for local disasters, however, we are chartered by Congress to provide disaster victims with relief.
