What we offer: A.N.G.E.L., Inc: is a 501(c)3 non profit organization that was started in 2000. Jennifer (Larson) Coppernoll from Spring Green, WI, is the President. A.N.G.E.L. Inc. stands for Autism Network through Guidance, Education & Life. A.N.G.E.L. offers a lot of services to WI families. We are all volunteers, there are no paid positions. Most are parents of autistic children trying to help others, your participation would be much appreciated! Support Group Meetings and Conferences: where parents, teachers, care givers or anyone affected by someone on the autism spectrum can come and share their stories and know they are not alone. We have speakers come in and lots of resources available. Sharing is caring! Fundraisers: to raise funds for grants, A.N.G.E.L. Inc. gives to children affected by autism. Some of the events we host are: Indoor Walk/Run for Autism; Golf outings; Jump 4 Autism - Skydiving event; Cruisin' 4 Autism - Motorcycles and cars from Racine to Spring Green with pickups in Elkhorn and Evansville. Grants: ANGEL distributes grant funds directly to the provider chosen by the parents. Autism is a complex brain disorder that affects communication, social interaction, behavior and learning. Autism affects 1 in 50 children. Males are four times more likely to have autism than females. It is a Spectrum disorder so some are mild while others are severe. Autism is treatable.
