Enrolls eligible US residents in patient assistance programs provided by drug manufacturers to receive free name-brand prescription medications. Full service enrollment includes refills, renewals and on-going service.
For the most part there are no age restrictions for enrollment. Eligibility is determined by household income based on the number of people supported by the income. Income guidelines are fairly generous and those with low to moderate income typically qualify. Most programs will not accept enrollments for those who have prescription insurance; however there are exceptions for high cost medications, hardship and under-insured individuals. Prospect should call for prescreening.
Medicare part D enrollees are eligible for assistance when they enter the "gap" state of coverage.
