The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge serves as a home away from home – free of charge – for adult cancer patients and their caregivers. Hope Lodge, a non-medical facility, offers a sense of community and comfort to patients who must travel to nearby medical facilities for lifesaving treatment. The lodge features 22 private guest rooms, laundry facilities, a library, fitness room, large community areas and kitchens for residents to store and prepare their meals. During the often long and emotional processes of treatment, guests of Hope Lodge receive support from professionals, families, friends, and other patients to help build the hope needed throughout their cancer journey.
Eligibilities: Adult patients, caregivers receiving active outpatient cancer treatment, child patient's caregivers at St. Joseph's /Marshfield.
