Description:
In addition to providing four (4) core services (Advocacy, Independent Living Skills, Information and Referral, and Peer Support), an ILC must develop additional services to meet the needs of people with disabilities, those who are older and the general community.
Options provides an array of services to our community, including: assessment and technical assistance to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and 504 public housing, as well as presentations on disability awareness and disability communication etiquette. In addition, staff are involved in various community boards and committees on the local and state level to promote inclusion of people with disabilities in all areas of life.
