Description:

TThe Rock County Job Center provides resources to assist the community in enhancing the quality of the workforce. A wide range of education, employment, training and supportive services are available at one convenient location. The Job Center is recognized by the United States Department of Labor as a "model" job center and has received recognition as the "#1 One Stop in the Nation".



In addition to providing employment opportunities, the Job Center assists job seekers with training, workshops, support programs, as well as information on the labor market and area employers. For employers, our computerized system of job order listings provides access to a large pool of applicants, we can also assist with your recruitment, training and retention needs. An account representative works to develop an approach that meets the needs of the local employer.



As a community resource, the Rock County Job Center has also become a location for community meetings and conferences.

Dislocated Workers

Specialized job search and training services for workers affected by permanent layoffs and/or business closings



Vocational Rehabilitation

This program assists individuals with disabilities to obtain, maintain and improve employment for people with disabilities by working with VR consumers, employers and other partners.



Adult Education- Literacy Services including GED Prep.



Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Rock County

An Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is the first place to go to get accurate, unbiased information on all aspects of life related to aging or living with a disability. The ADRC provides information on broad range of programs and services, helps people understand the various long term care options available to them, helps people apply for programs and benefits, and serves as the access point for publicly-funded long term care.

The Economic Support Division determines eligibility for Medical Assistance (MA), Badger Care (BC), FoodShare (FS) and ChildCare (CC).

Comprehensive Communtiy Services (CCS) Program
A community-based mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation program for children and adults.
