Wausaukee Enterprises Inc. has a Day Service program that is individually geared and curriculum based. Classes are established to assist clients in developing independent living skills. Some of the classes that Day Services provide are math, phonics/spelling, computers, nutrition/cooking, current events, basic reading/reading comprehension, money & time skills, living in the community, health & wellness/exercise and effective communication.
The Wausaukee Enterprise Workshop is licensed by the state of Wisconsin and the Federal Government. A variety of subcontracts, work projects and sales of wiper rags and wire stripping services are made available through industries and businesses in the area. Clients are paid for all the work on a commensurate wage basis.
Wausaukee Enterprises Inc. owns and operates the W.E.Store, a thrift shop. The W.E. Store makes available for resale items that are donated. Profits from the store go back into the agency for programming needs. The store employs clients and individuals that volunteer their time.
