Description:

Wisconsin Judicare is a non-profit law firm dedicated to providing equal access to justice to Wisconsin residents. Located in the U.S. Bank Building in downtown Wausau, Wisconsin Judicare is the civil legal service provider for Wisconsin's northern 33 counties and 11 federally recognized Indian tribes.

From its inception, Wisconsin Judicare has emphasized the utilization of the private bar to represent low-income persons in conjunction with on-staff attorneys.

People may be eligible for free legal help through WI Judicare if:

- live in one of the 33 northern-most counties of WI
- meet limits on the value of property
- are a U.S. citizen or an alien lawfully residing in the United States under the color of the law
- have low income, as defined as a percentage of the federal poverty guidelines

How to Apply for Judicare:
- People can apply for Judicare at any time. You need not have a legal problem to apply.
- You can complete a Judicare application at your local Outreach Partner agency. People can apply for a Judicare card locally at the following locations:
