A non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families purchase and maintain their own homes. For some home buyers the agency assists with down payment and closing-costs grants if an individual's annual income is at or below 80% of the county median income. Pre-purchase counseling, home buyer's seminars and post-purchase counseling and workshops are provided.
Housing Resources, Inc. also provides Default and Reverse Mortgage Counseling. Additionally, the agency maintains a Tool Loan Program for interested Home Owners. Membership Cost is $25/year & $20/year for seniors over 62. There may be an additional small charge for some tools borrowed.
