The Wisconsin Poison Center (WPC) is the state authorized free poison information service by Children's Hospital of WI serving over 5.3 million residents.
The WPC uses a staff of dedicated RN's, the majority of whom are nationally Certified Specialists by the American Association of Poison Control Centers. The nurses have been trained in clinical toxicology by the poison center medical director. Three physician toxicologists provide medical direction, supervision, and 24-hour availability to the WPC.
