Swiss Wheel has helped so many people over the past years and hopefully continues to do so. For the past 18 years Diane Wyss has owned Swiss Wheel and provided basic needs and emergency housing for a large variety of individuals (low-income, mentally challenged, homeless, and abused). The total living concept at Swiss Wheel includes a large furnished room and bath, all utilities, community kitchen stocked with groceries and home made meals are provided for residents needing a helping hand to start over.
The Swiss Wheel is operated as a rooming house and accommodates people of all types and situations.
Tenants are usually single working people, seasonal workers, persons relocating to Monroe, low income, fixed income, and mentally or physically disabled individuals.
Emergency housing also provided for person living in their cars or on the streets, and cases of abuse situations are sometimes referred to us by Green Haven Social Services, or St Vincent De Paul
Rent is $360.00/month which includes all utilities, heat, water, garbage, message service, food/meals and air conditioner.
There is a kitchen/dining area and each room is furnished and a private bathroom - Tenants share kitchen/dining area.
Application is required. No security deposit required. Month to month lease agreement & background check.
