Description:
The mission of the IndependenceFirst AODA services for persons who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing or Deaf-Blind is to increase access to culturally sensitive, language appropriate and accessible AODA treatment/recovery services.
Staff can help people who need residential or outpatient treatment, mutual support/recover groups (such as Alcoholics, Narcotics and/or Cocaine Anonymous support groups). Staff can provide coordination of language appropriate, accessible services: provide support and education information, assistive listening devices(s) available for loan, prevention resources, etc.
There are support groups throughout Wisconsin. Call for locations and time.
