24 hour, confidential, toll free number to call for help with problems such as alcohol and drug abuse, youth runaways, family problems, family violence, depression or suicide.
Provides emergency shelter for victims of domestic abuse, youth in crisis, and runaways. Provides referrals to local supportive services; educational programs for community groups focusing on the prevention of drug/alcohol abuse, violence in dating relationships, and adolescent suicide prevention. Services include 24 hour shelter for abuse victims, short term
counseling, mediation in settling family arguments, educational campaign about domestic abuse and a 24 hour crisis line.
To teenagers and their parents the F.C.C. offers immediate counseling, either walk-in or by telephone; mediation to find short term agreement to address problems;
temporary shelter for runaways or youth in crisis; referrals to local supportive services;
educational programs for community groups focusing on the prevention of drug/alcohol abuse, violence in dating relationships, and adolescent suicide prevention.
