Stepping On is a falls prevention program for older adults age 60 or odler that have fallen or have a fear of falling. The program offers mutual support, information about the many aspects of falls prevention, an introduction to simple exercises designed to improve your strength and balance, and strategies you can use to prevent falls. Local leaders along wtih medical experts such as a physical therapist, pharmacist, vision expert, and community safety expert speak at the classes. Classes meet two hours per week for seven weeks. Enrollment is limited and preregistration is required. There is a fee which includes all learning materials. Call for upcoming class dates.
