Description:
Marathon County Extension teaches family nutrition and food resource management through group instruction or "learn-while-you-wait" lessons at local at-risk schools, pantries, WIC, and other sites where people wait. Programming serves people with low incomes, especially Food Stamp recipients. Also offers:
*COOKING CLASSES, which teach basic nutrition and cooking skills
*FOOD, FUN AND FITNESS, a school nutrition and fitness program
*HELP US GROW (HUG), school nutrition and gardening program
