Waushara County Parks system offers 11 county parks, one hiking and snowmobiling trail called Bannerman Trail, and one shooting range. For current details about the opening/closing of snowmobile trails, cross country ski trails,and hiking trails, you can go to the Waushara County website at www.co.waushara.wi.us/parks.htm or call the office at 920-787-7037. The Waushara County Parks office manages the County Fairgrounds, takes reservations for the picnic shelters at 5 different county parks, and during the summer months sells discount tickets to various Wisconsin attractions plus Great America.
The Waushara County Solid Waste Department has a recycle brochure on the county website or you can call the office to obtain a brochure. County cards to access the Waushara County Collection Sites can be obtained from the Parks and Solid Waste office Mon.-Thurs. 9-2 with a copy of your tax bill or rent receipt and a photo ID.
