Hospice provides a team approach to end of life care, supporting the patient and the family with skilled nursing, social work, chaplain, health aide, volunteer and bereavement support. Services also include medications, supplies and equipment related to the terminal illness. Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance cover hospice but we do not turn anyone away due to an inability to pay. Hospice serves people of all ages with any terminal condition, wherever they live (home, nursing home, assisted living facility).
