AAssists individuals with disabilities in obtaining and retaining employment with are abusinesses. There are three ways this can be accomplished. First, Supported Employment which assesses individuals to discover their preferences, needs and abilities, locate employment that will match preferences, provide on-the-job and community training/assistance, provide long term support for as long as it is needed by employee and employer.
Second, Job Develoment which provides employment and support planning, assistnace inareas requested by the clilent, such as interview skill training, provide on-the-job and community training if needed, and provides support on and off the job for 90 days,
Third, School-to-work transition which assists students who are at least 19 years of age and in school, obtain employment, assistance with referrals to DVR and county services, assistance with benefits, transportatin, etc. and upon leaving school, their support will continue through Supported Employment.
