Whether providing skilled health care services or simple bathing assistance, Mercy Home Health’s goals for clients include avoiding or limiting hospitalization, thereby improving their quality of life and helping them achieve independence in their own homes.
Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran's Administration, private insurance providers, and many HMOs typically cover home health services and home health care. Private payments are also accepted.
Mercyhealth at Home offers Personal Care Workers and Home Companion services. These services allow the patient to maintain a safe and healthy home environment by receiving help with bathing, dressing, shopping, errands, cooking, chores, cleaning and other household tasks. Payment for these services includes county funding, grants or private pay.
