Welcome to Northwest Wisconsin Cremation Center located in Milltown, Wisconsin. We are proud to be serving many communities in Polk and Burnett Counties, such as Luck, Milltown, Frederic, Balsam Lake, Centuria, St. Croix Falls and Amery along with many other communities. The Cremation Center was built with the cremation family in mind. We can take care of any type of cremation service you are looking for, and the cremation will take place on-site in Milltown.
Cremation with Funeral Service:
A cremation service may include a private or public viewing. There may be a funeral service at one of our funeral homes or your place of worship prior to the cremation itself. Burial of the ashes, if desired, may take place at a later date, and may be either public or private.
Cremation with Memorial Service:
This includes immediate cremation without a public or private viewing, but also offers the choice of having a memorial service, which is held after the cremation.
Direct Cremation without Ceremonies:
Immediate cremation would not include any services or rites. It may take place only after obtaining a signed death certificate from the attending physician along with a signed authorization from the next of kin or authorized agent of the deceased. In the state of Wisconsin there is a forty-eight hour waiting period after the time of death before cremation can be performed.

Our office will contact the Social Security Department on behalf of your family to notify them that a death has occurred.
File Veterans Benefit Forms
Our experienced staff will assist your family in completing and filing all necessary forms related to veterans affairs and benefits.
Provide Assistance with Insurance Companies
Our experienced staff will work with your family in filing information and securing benefits from insurance companies for your family.
