Description:
Home instead senior care is a non-medical provider of companionship, meal preparation, light house keeping, medication reminders, errands and incidental transportion. Rates are $18.50 an hour with a minimum of three hours for shopping ($.45 per mile from client's home and back) and companionship. If light housework is requested, bathing, etc., the cost is $20.35 per hour with a three hour minimum.
If a couple wants care, it is $27.55 per hour with no minimum. Care for a 24 hour period (one full day), would be $280.00 for one person or $380 for two people. Rates as of 2011.
Services Offered: Personal cares, medication reminders, errands and transportation, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship.
