UnityPoint Finley Hospital offers a variety of services for patients and families coping with disorders such as anxiety, depression, thought disorders, dementia with behavioral disturbance, and other mental health disorders. From our inpatient hospital program, to our many outpatient services, our team of experts provides coordinated, personalized care for each patient needing mental health services.

Our Behavioral Health unit is an inpatient hospital program providing psychiatric services to individuals age 55 and older who are experiencing mental health issues.
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) centers on family, individual, and group therapy sessions which occur weekly at Finley Hospital.
UnityPoint Clinic - Behavioral Health provides outpatient mental health counseling and medication management services.

The Summit Center treats patients with a range of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, as well as dementia with agitation and aggression.

- Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine:
The Finley Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine is a A Safe, Convenient and Cost Effective Approach. Helps those who have a wound that will not heal through ordinary methods. These types of wounds can include severe infections, diabetic foot ulcers, serious cuts or burns, or snake or spider bites. Our center includes a comprehensive, multidisciplinary service for chronic wound treatment including hyperbaric medicine. Wound Care is provided by a team of professionals who are specially trained to care for people with wounds that have resisted healing. Wounds can be treated anywhere, from home to our outpatient physical therapy. This personalized care, plus a little encouragement, promotes healing, prevents infections, prevents re-injury, reduces hospital stays and allows patients to remain in the familiar surrounds of their homes. Patients may self refer or contact your personal physician for a referral.

Services Offered: Thorough wound assessment, identify all underlying disease factors. Wide variety of conventional and specialty wound treatment, Patient/Family/Professional Education - Vital information on disease process, treatment and services, Physician directed care, Care Management by a RN extensively trained in wound care, Durable Medical Equipment Consultants, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, To help in your healing you may be referred for hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a simple but effective treatment in which you breathe 100 percent pure oxygen inside a pressurized chamber.

Rehabilitative Services:
The Finley Hospital offers a comprehensive range of rehabilitation programs on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. Our therapists coordinate services for the individual and work together with the family and/or staff at other facilities to discuss possible treatment options in order to optimize the client's rehab potential. Options: Services are provided in the Hospital, patient's home, residential, intermediate, and skilled nursing facilities, adult day care centers, and on an outpatient basis at our two clinics.

Case Management:
The key to cost control is case management. Returning a worker to the job in a safe and timely manner requires the coordinated efforts of a knowledgeable and skilled team of professionals, Finley Occupational Health professionals understand that employer consensus with treatment and testing is essential, as the worker is their most important asset. Our professionals, who are fully familiar with the work, the diagnosis, the work place and the goals of a the employer will move the worker quickly and safely through rehabilitation and control costs for the employer.

Cardiovascular Services:
Finley Hospital's Cardiac Rehabilitation Center is an outpatient program designed to assist those with hear disease with an individualized treatment to resume normal life function. Key components to success are exercise and lifestyle modifications education through a two-phase program. Phase II: Early Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation. Phase II typically begins one to six weeks after discharge from the hospital for heart surgery, a heart attack, angioplasty, stent replacement or stable angina. This phase emphasizes reducing heart disease risk-factors through focused education, counseling and exercise. Sessions are conducted one to three times per week, lasting 60 to 90 minutes per session. The length of the program is individualized based upon physician preference and the clients needs. Cost of Phase II: most third party insurance providers cover up to 100 percent for a predetermined number of sessions. Medicare recipients are entitled to 80 percent coverage and their supplemental insurance carrier will provide the remaining 20 percent for up to 36 sessions. Uninsured clients will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Phase III: Maintenance and Prevention, The primary goals of the Phase III Program are to improve physical fitness, promote a feeling of well being and to reduce the risk of recurring event. Phase III can last from 6 to 24 months and generally includes clinical supervision and intermittent ECG monitoring. Cost of Phase III: The Phase III Program is not covered by the majority of insurance providers. There is a nominal fee for each session.

Occupational Health Services Include: Injury Care and Prevention, Executive Physical Exams, Pre-Employment and Post Offer Physical Exams, Fitness for Duty Assessments, Integrated Physical Therapy, Workplace Medical and Fitness Services, Regulatory Services and OSHA Compliance, Drug and Alcohol Testing, Workplace Flu Vaccines, Travel Medicine, Diagnosis and Treatment. If a worker is injured, Finley Occupational Health will care for your employee promptly. Services are available 24 hours a day. And you will receive same day follow up communication on treatment administered and the employee's return to work status.
