Description:
Located at UW West Clinic, this multidisciplinary program provides diagnosis and management of osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases. The clinic is staffed by faculty from Endocrinology, Geriatrics, and Rheumatology. The team also includes advanced practitioners, specialized nurses, and a physical therapist to provide the necessary education and specialized therapy for the patients. In addition, a bone densitometer is located in the clinic and most faculty members are certified to read DXA scans, allowing patients to get complete care during their clinic visit.
