Description:
Volunteers make it possible for the Department to provide programs and services at a higher level of quality than funding actually permits. Volunteers can help in the following ways:
Caregiver class leaders, chore service (raking, snow shoveling, etc), committee volunteers, dining center volunteers, health promotion class leaders, home-delivered meal assessments, home repair workers, newsletter volunteers, senior friends, special project volunteers, volunteer drivers
Again, many of the programs and services the Department offers are dependent upon volunteers, and we extend our most sincere thanks to those who give their time to help in our efforts to serve the community. We are always looking for more volunteers, so if you are interested, please don’t hesitate to call the Department of Aging Services at (920) 787-0403 for more information.
