Services Offered:
1. Legal assistance and representation to Tribal members in areas of Indian law statewide. (For Tribal members with incomes not more than 200% of the federal poverty level.)
2. Native American Elders Outreach Project: Legal assistance and advocacy for Native American elders with income maintenance and health care issues. (For Wisconsin residents who are enrolled or enrollable members of any federally-recognized tribe, and age 55 or above.
Examples include public benefit appeals for:
* SSI/Social Security
* Food Stamps/FoodShare
* Medicare and Medical Assistance
* Indian Health Services
* Veterans Benefits
* Native American Wills
3. For Ho-Chunk Tribal members, income not more than 200% of the federal poverty level. Per cap payments are not counted as income.
Service Areas: State of Wisconsin. Native Americans do not have to reside on reservations to receive assistance.
