Enviornmental Health Program including: human health hazard investigations, rabies control program, animal bite follow-up, restaurant and lodging inspections, limited private well testing for a fee, and weekly beach monitoring during the summer session. Enrollment into the Wisconsin Well Women Program which provides breast and cervical cancer screening of women between the ages 50-64 based on income. Tuberculosis, lead and blood pressure screening. Radon testing kits. Immunization for adults and children. WIC (Income-based supplemental food program for women, infants and children). PNCC (Prenatal care so-ordination for pregnant women). Free well water testing for households with pregnant women or new-born under one year of age. Home visits for families with new babies. Children with Special Health Care needs resources and referral site. Our Northwoods Dental Project provides preventative dental services for Vilas, Oneida and Forest Counties. We provide information and resources to help prepare the community for public health emergencies. We respond to health questions and concerns.
