Volunteer Activities
The Lobby Shoppe
Open to the public, the Lobby Shoppe offers a hot breakfast and lunch, along with other tasty treats to fill your day. Cards, unique gifts, holiday decor and flowers are available for purchase. The gifts are all bought and displayed by volunteers. They also assist with daily operations. The Lobby Shoppe hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm.
Knitting and Craft Projects
Partner volunteers knit baby caps for every infants born at The Richland Hospital.
Book Cart
Volunteers are needed for work on the book cart. Duties include replenishing books and magazines. Checking with patients to see if they would like something to read is rewarding for many of the volunteers.
Special Events
There are many functions where volunteers are needed for assistance. Examples include: Bake and Flower sales, assisting with hospital special events and assisting with food for Blood Drives.
Projects
Scholarships
The Richland Hospital, Richland Hospital Foundation, and Partners of Richland Hospital work together to sponsor a Scholarship/Loan Program that is available for individuals living in Richland and surrounding counties who are pursuing or intending to pursue formal education leading to a degree or certification in a healthcare related occupation.
Donations
Items are purchased each year for the hospital by the Partners. Partners have shown an ongoing commitment to the hospital and all of its endeavors.
