Description:

NEWCAP has a Community Health Services Program that provides affordable reproductive healthcare and family planning to men and women of all ages. They offer the following services: annual exams, pregnancy tests, pap smears, colonoscopy, HIV testing, STD screening and treatment, birth control, emergency contraception, pills by mail and education/guidance. NEWCAP also provides Electric Service Payment Assistance, Heating Fuel Payment Assistance,

The Work-n-Wheels program is a loan for automobiles based on income to insure the client has reliable transportation to and from work. Applications and guidelines can be found online. Contact Dave Leisner in the Oconto office for further details 920-591-1500.



NEWCAP offers several housing programs.
Homeless Prevention Program which provides rental assistance to individuals or families that are homeless. Eligible applicants will have a portion of their rent paid through NEWCAP based on income. Income must be at or below 30% of County Median Income. Contact Makenna @ 800-242-7334.

Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program is a housing first program providing rental assistance to individuals/families experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Priority is given to the disabled, those who have a disabled family member, low-income who are disabled or have a disabled family member. NEWCAP works with you to become self-sufficient. Housing Choice Voucher Program is a federally funded program that provides rental subsidies to low-income families, senior citizens, handicapped, and disabled individuals. Assists individuals and families in obtaining adequated and affordable housing. Family income must be at or below 50% County Medican Income. Contact Makenna 800-242-7334.
