Legal Action Wisconsin - The Elder Rights Project (ERP) is a collaboration between Legal Action of Wisconsin and Wisconsin Judicare. They provide free legal assistance to secure safety, stability, and independence for elder abuse victims. ERP is funded by fines and fees paid by people convicted of crimes.
Their team of lawyers and paralegals are located in offices throughout Wisconsin, including Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, La Crosse, Oshkosh, Racine and Wausau.
If a victim is not able to go to their office, they will make every effort to do a home visit of meet at another safe location.
If you are contacting the ERP on behalf of an elder abuse victim, you must provide a financial Power of Attorney or other legal guardianship document proving that you have the authority to act on that victim's behalf.
