Walter Schmidt Assisted Living is for the alert older adult who wishes to remain as independent as possible without the problems and efforts of living alone...or maintaining a home. It offers a home-like atmosphere for residents who are free to come and go as they please. Houseparents who are "tuned in" to the special needs and likes of the aging adult are on duty 24/7, with RN on call 24/7
Walter Schmidt provides three meals a day including Special Diets and snacks. Residents choose the services they would like assistance with such as medication management, Activities of Daily Living assistance. Laundry and cleaning of rooms is provided at no extra charge. Activities are held daily, monitor medical, physical and mental status.
Clients can be admitted the same day if a room is available.
Associated with Prairie du Chien Hospital so have the ability for hollistic health care needs.
