Golden House is a comprehensive domestic violence program serving victims in Brown County. As a private, non-profit founded in 1979, we respond to the needs of victims and educate our community on the prevalence, effects, and prevention of domestic abuse.

We can help you plan ways to stay safe at home, at work, and in public. This is especially important if you are planning to or have recently ended a relationship.
We can also help you talk with your kids about safety and create a safety plan.

Risk Assessments
Brown County court system requires victims to complete a risk assessment before they will consider lifting a no-contact order. This assessment takes about 30 minutes and can be scheduled by calling 920-435-0100.
