Virtual Assistance provides a safe, secure environment for taxpayers to get service in a face-to-face setting without visiting a traditional TAC.
Virtual assistance involves taxpayers interacting with live assistors located in a different geographic location via an IRS computer. This method of face-to-face service is now available at selected IRS partner locations.
